Mr & Mrs Smith

Just bought it. on repeat. Some may judge. Some may join in on the dance party in the car.

She is hit or miss when we ask her to say something. She is not to the point where she always repeats what we say, but at least she knows how to use the words below: mom hey, hi book "bu" bye ball "baah" food "foof" water "wa" baby uh oh "oh" mouth "mow" eye hot "haw" no "na" bird "ba" daddy "dah" butt And she knows what we're saying when we ask her to pick something up, go find her cup, her shoes, her paci, are you hungry, close the door, where are your toys, go get a book, daddy is home, it's time to pray (she folds her arms for two seconds), where is the ice-cream cone (she points to it in the book and says mmmm), name parts of the face + belly, what animal we're referring to, etc... signing: food, water & sleep (and points to her crib if she is that tired) animal sounds: dog, horse, monkey, duc...

So on my FL road trip, I ran into a few mix CDs. And shamefully, but really there is no shame, I rekindled a little bit of my youthfulness. You see, dancing and daydreams were two favorite things of mine. Not coordinated dancing, just dance parties, roommate dance offs and awesome road trip performances. And my mix CDs tell a story. Mostly embarrassing stories full of regrets, but at the same time, it's a past I cherish. Either way, I ended up here and I can't complain about that. However, a lot of the dance songs are censored and not added here, but many others still tell a tale of well, drama. And now I'm old and the drama consists of forgotten clothes in the washing machine. But let's go back a little. And I made him this secret video because he didn't want anything for his birthday. He said birthdays are just commercialism at its best. But I just wanted him to feel special. He didn't even want a key lime pie. Mr Smith, we would slobber you with kisses, but this home music video will have to do for now . .  . What Matters Most     Per annoying copyright you can only view this video on a computer and not your phone. The video has flaws and a little cheesy at times but it's not bad for an original birthday card. I would have done more if I had time.

Well, this is my latest craft. Tulle Pom Poms. I'm satisfied with them. The crafts I do are not perfect & I'm slowly getting over it. This is where Lexi sleeps & I love it. She is there now. It gives me peace. I love sleeping babies & that moment where you hear they are awake & you get to see that adorable smile that says "mommy, it's so good to see you" Here is something I haven't started: If any of you are creative enough for this, we got it free thinking we could make it something. All we really need to do is prime it & it's a great headboard (for our eventual guest room) but for now, those shelves annoy me because our pillows are right in front of them. Any ideas? Mr Smith mentioned raising the headboard a bit from the ground so that the shelf part is higher up, but I'm not sure how he could non-awkwardly do that. Don't you love picking up an old purse/bag and finding old things new again? I lost my red frames, but alas they are found again and I feel like I just bought a new pair. It's wonderful. Monday was a hard day to wake up to for some reason. All Mr Smith and I wanted to do was stay put for an hour or two longer. You? Here is something to put you in the mood. Not a waking up it's Monday morning mood. just a - I love my special someone mood. Even when they hate on the scented pinecones you bring home. {They are perfect}

I seriously thought Mr Hunter was the Rascal Flatts. Props to this new singer. I know they play it all the time on the radio, but I'm not tired of it yet. In fact, it makes me so happy to think of Mr Smith when I hear this song. I miss him tonight. He is two time zones away from me, and all I want to do is find myself wrapped up in his arms.  I got home from work at 8:30 tonight. Mostly my own fault, I'm learning. I think the most frustrating part is knowing it's easy, but that it takes time to be efficient and understand all the details. I let myself get too worried that I lose focus when there is a time crunch. It'll come. But for now, I'm grateful for the extended weekend. My boss thought I was strange when I said I planned on sleeping. I think it sounds absolutely terrific. That way, I can dream of my lover without distraction.  ps - I haven't cooked for the third evening in a row. turns out you get married to take care of someone else. 

Dear Mr Smith,  I love your good morning goodbyes. They are my favorite.

If you can't handle the music (aka Mr Smith), I'm sorry. It is the clean version. (that I have Miss Lyman to thank for) If you can't handle ugly pictures, I'm sorry I wanted this to be an honest version of our story. I wouldn't let Mr Smith see what I was doing last night. {This is what happens when you're away at basketball practice} He would laugh and tell me I'm ridiculous. And I am well aware that I am. Well, maybe it makes me feel better that I can save others from the NC car laws. I don't know if that's a good thing or not ;) I was going through my Kodak videos/pics and noticed how forgotten I had let some memories get. I have SO many clips on there. I've decided to post some. I am tempted to post the one of Mr Smith playing video games because his gamer face cracks me up, but I know it will be war after that. However, I am posting TWO of me that I think are ridiculous to counterbalance. It's funny watching yourself on film; it catches things you, unfortunately, don't get to see. I lick my lips a lot!
